These Terms govern your access to and use of BANKTRUST. By using BANKTRUST, creating an account, uploading files, connecting an accounting platform, or using any related workflow, you agree to these Terms.

What BANKTRUST is

BANKTRUST is software for bookkeeping and accounting workflows. It helps users process bank statement documents, review extracted transaction data, check reconciliation signals, prepare structured exports, manage accounting connections, configure account mappings, and support posting workflows. BANKTRUST is not a bank, financial institution, accounting firm, tax advisor, or legal advisor.

Accounts and access

  • You must use BANKTRUST lawfully and only for legitimate business, bookkeeping, accounting, or professional purposes.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • Your account plan and configuration determine which features, limits, integrations, and workflow capabilities are available in your workspace.
  • We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if needed for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, maintenance, legal compliance, or violation of these Terms.

Your data and permissions

  • You retain ownership of the files, records, and data you submit to BANKTRUST.
  • You give BANKTRUST permission to host, process, transform, store, and display that data as needed to operate the service, provide support, secure the product, and maintain workflow records.
  • You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, process, review, export, connect, or post any files, client records, accounting data, or third-party platform data you use with BANKTRUST.

Accounting integrations

BANKTRUST provides accounting workflow features including exports, connection management, account mapping, posting previews, and posting workflows. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, mappings, previews, exports, and accounting-system activity before relying on them.

If you connect BANKTRUST to a third-party accounting platform such as QuickBooks Online, you authorize BANKTRUST to use that connection as needed to provide the integration and workflows you request. You are responsible for the settings, mappings, approvals, and accounting treatment applied in your connected systems.

Outputs and accuracy

  • BANKTRUST is designed to support reconciliation-first review, but no software can guarantee that every document, transaction, mapping, export, preview, or integration result will be correct in every case.
  • You are responsible for reviewing all processed statements, extracted transactions, reconciliation results, exports, previews, mappings, and accounting-system activity before relying on them operationally, financially, legally, or for tax purposes.
  • You should maintain appropriate internal controls, backups, approval processes, and review procedures for your accounting workflows.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse, probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the service.
  • Do not use BANKTRUST to store, process, or transmit unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or malicious content.
  • Do not attempt to access another user's workspace, files, accounting connections, billing information, or data.
  • Do not place BANKTRUST secrets, API keys, tokens, or credentials in public repositories, client-side code, or unauthorized systems.

Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans, usage limits, subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, and billing details are presented during checkout, billing management, or account setup. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and managing your plan.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may update pricing or plan packaging, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

Service availability and changes

  • BANKTRUST evolves over time. Features can change, improve, be limited, be renamed, be released gradually, or be removed.
  • We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.
  • We may perform maintenance, respond to incidents, restrict risky activity, or disable features when needed to protect the service or users.

Third-party services

BANKTRUST relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, storage, billing, analytics, email, accounting integrations, and related infrastructure. Your use of connected third-party services is also governed by those providers' own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, BANKTRUST is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, BANKTRUST will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, business, goodwill, data, accounting records, or financial opportunity arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of BANKTRUST after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.
